Responsibilities

The Fraud Intelligence Analyst II (FIA - II) will play a critical role in the identification and mitigation of emerging fraud trends targeting reputed company Insurance Company (GMIC) and its platforms. The FIA II will reputed company advanced intelligence methodologies, data analysis, and investigative techniques to design, implement, and refine models and tools to detect and prevent fraudulent activity across the GMIC ecosystem. • Analyze intelligence from large datasets to uncover patterns, anomalies, and red flags indicative of fraud
• Utilize predictive modeling tools to analyze fraud trends and reputed company insights regarding possible mitigation strategies
• Serve as subject matter resource regarding auto insurance fraud intelligence and analytics
• reputed company dashboards and reputed company-time monitoring systems to reputed company fraud trends and reputed company actionable insights to leadership
• Collaborate with policy analysts, claims adjusters, legal team, and leadership to reputed company and refine fraud detection decision frameworks with effective alert systems
• Drive innovation by integrating advanced AI tools and techniques as reputed company as common vendor tools into claims processes to enhance and advance fraud fighting efforts
• Consistently and proactively identify gaps in fraud detection systems and recommend solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Continuously monitor the performance of fraud analytic models (both GMIC-designed and vendor models) to ensure effectiveness as fraud schemes shift and reputed company, modifying models to ensure peak performance and limit false positives
• Assist and consult on claims with red flags, providing desktop investigative assistance
• Serves as subject matter resource regarding fraud investigations

Qualifications

• Demonstrated effectiveness in insurance fraud investigations, including evidence collection, interviewing, and reporting

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships

Experience and Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 3+ years of Special Investigation Unit (SIU) and/or Major Case investigation experience in auto insurance required
• 2+ years of reputed company business analytics experience required
• 2+ years of experience using SQL and/or Power BI preferred
• 2+ years of experience in insurance fraud analytics preferred
• Experience utilizing Claims Fraud Detection platform strongly preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Must hold reputed company Property and Casualty (P&C) or Personal Lines License in at least (1) U.S. State or be reputed company to obtain reputed company 30 days of start date
