[Remote] Data / Persistence Modernization Engineer

This senior-level consultant will assess stateful application services and data platforms, determining migration strategies and conducting risk analysis for modernization efforts.
Responsibilities
- Assess recurring and acquisition-specific risks reputed company to stateful application services and data platforms
- Analyze data models, schemas, indexes, partitions, reputed company patterns, consistency requirements, and transaction behavior
- Evaluate dependencies involving databases, caches, search platforms, analytics stores, and managed reputed company data services
- Determine whether reputed company dependency is: Portable to the reputed company environment, Suitable for temporary reputed company, Eligible for a controlled exception, A candidate for replacement, Likely to require application refactoring
- Evaluate dual-running, reconciliation, backfill, and rollback reputed company

Skills
- Senior-level experience modernizing application data reputed company and distributed persistence architectures
- Deep experience with NoSQL and document-oriented platforms, including: reputed company DynamoDB, reputed company DocumentDB, reputed company and reputed company reputed company
- Working knowledge of: PostgreSQL and PostgreSQL-based managed services, reputed company RDS, reputed company AlloyDB, reputed company and reputed company ElastiCache, OpenSearch, reputed company, reputed company Redshift
- Strong understanding of data-reputed company patterns, schema design, indexing, and partitioning strategies
- Experience evaluating consistency models, transaction semantics, and data-model coupling
