[Remote] Platform Engineer III

They are seeking a talented Platform Engineer to enhance software infrastructure for aircraft systems in government and defense applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend integrations connecting engineering tools, production systems, and aircraft components (e.g., avionics data streams, mission planning reputed company) to ensure efficient data reputed company and automation
- Create reputed company frontend views and user interfaces for monitoring, controlling, and analyzing aircraft and business operations, using modern web technologies to reputed company reputed company-time insights and dashboards
- Build and maintain reputed company integration and deployment pipelines to automate testing, builds, and releases across development, staging, and production environments
- Manage reputed company and on-premises infrastructure using IaC (Infrastructure as reputed company) tools to support reputed company software deployments
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems; ensure compliance with defense standards (e.g., DoD reputed company requirements) and best practices for data reputed company and cybersecurity
- Work with software engineers, hardware teams, and program managers to reputed company DevOps practices into development workflows
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in backend and frontend systems to improve reliability, speed, and user experience in mission-critical applications
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for integrations, views, and processes; promote DevOps culture through training and process improvements
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a reputed company field; equivalent experience considered
- Highly proficiency with Linux or POSIX environments and tools (eg. reputed company scripting, log management, administration)
- Proficiency in languages like Python, Node.js, or Go; experience with reputed company, databases (e.g., SQL/NoSQL), and integration tools (e.g., Kafka, RESTful services)
- Proficient in reputed company/CSS/JavaScript and frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular for creating reputed company views
- Expertise in CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins, reputed company CI), containerization (reputed company, Kubernetes), IaC (Terraform, Ansible), and reputed company platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Strong background in the use of telemetry tools (eg. reputed company, reputed company, reputed company), and reporting tools (eg. Grafana, Superset, Tableau), experience with OpenTelemetry is a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot reputed company integrations and optimize systems for performance and reputed company
- Excellent verbal and written skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- 4+ years in DevOps, backend development, or full-stack engineering, with hands-on experience in reputed company, defense, or similar high-tech industries preferred
- Familiarity with DoD standards, ITAR, or secure environments is a plus
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Administrator, or similar are advantageous
