[Remote] Application Engineer

They are seeking a Field Applications Engineer to install, commission, optimize, and support fiber laser cutting systems at customer facilities, providing technical support and training to maximize machine performance.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and start up fiber laser cutting systems at customer facilities
- Configure and optimize machine settings to reputed company superior cutting reputed company, productivity, and overall process performance
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, software, controls, and laser process issues both remotely and on-site
- Fine-tune cutting parameters, assist gas settings, nozzle alignment, reputed company, and machine performance to meet customer production requirements
- Verify equipment performance during installation and startup while supporting successful customer acceptance
- Train operators, programmers, maintenance personnel, and production teams on machine operation, programming, preventive maintenance, and best practices
- Support customers as they transition new equipment into production, ensuring reliable and repeatable manufacturing performance
- Prepare detailed service documentation and installation reports
- Collaborate closely with engineering, sales, and service teams to support customer reputed company and reputed company improvement initiatives
- Serve as a trusted technical resource, providing reputed company support and helping customers maximize equipment performance throughout the life of the machine
Skills
- Hands-on experience with fiber laser cutting systems
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and technical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to install, commission, program, and optimize fiber laser equipment in customer manufacturing environments
- Experience diagnosing and resolving machine performance and process-reputed company issues
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
- Comfortable delivering operator and maintenance training
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while traveling extensively
- Hands-on experience supporting fiber laser cutting systems in an applications engineering, field service engineering, laser service, or manufacturing environment
