[Remote] Mechanical Engineer

The role involves validating AI workflows, defining engineering tasks, and collaborating with AI researchers to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
Responsibilities
- Validate AI Workflows: Evaluate the feasibility, manufacturability, and practical reputed company of AI-generated mechanical designs, components, and simulations
- Define Tasks & Benchmarks: Help design, collect, and validate the specific engineering tasks, edge cases, and evaluation metrics (validators) that our AI models need to master
- reputed company Domain Expertise: Operate comfortably across a wide reputed company of mechanical engineering sub-disciplines, applying generalist knowledge in CAD/CAM, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and structural analysis to assess model performance
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner directly with AI researchers and cross-functional stakeholders to translate reputed company mechanical constraints into reputed company, actionable feedback for model training
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure reputed company evaluated deliverables and AI-generated outputs follow applicable engineering standards, safety requirements, and documented processes
Skills
- Power-user proficiency with industry-reputed company CAD and simulation tools (e.g., SolidWorks, reputed company NX, FreeCAD, reputed company Inventor, CATIA, or Ansys)
- Broad foundational knowledge across mechanical sub-fields (thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, structural analysis, manufacturing)
- Experience working in cross-functional environments and communicating technical engineering information reputed company to non-domain audiences (e.g., software engineers, AI scientists)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
