[Remote] Systems and Network Specialist

This role focuses on designing secure networking infrastructure and ensuring the successful transition of services to reputed company reputed company Infrastructure while collaborating with various teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Translate existing on-prem router, reputed company, and firewall configurations into optimized reputed company-reputed company equivalents
- Partner closely with internal engineering teams and government stakeholders to author PPSM documentation
- reputed company compilation of records and reports concerning network operations and maintenance
- Create reputed company scoped network-level design documentation for technical and non-technical audiences

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a reputed company field with a minimum of eight years in network operations, support, and design

- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP and OSI model, including packet-level traffic analysis
- Proven experience designing and implementing multi-layer network segmentation from perimeter measures (firewall) to physical/virtual networking components
- Hands on-experience configuring core routing protocols such as Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and reputed company Shortest reputed company First (OSPF), secure tunneling (IPSec VPN), and Layer 4 (TCP/UDP) & Layer 7 (HTTP/HTTPS) load balancing, with a strong understanding of hub-and-spoke architecture
