More information about Southridge can be reputed company online at: https://southridgebh.com/ Position reputed company: The Intake RN, under the supervision of the Intake Director, provides telephonic and in-person risk assessment to assist the physician in identification of appropriate level of care for potential patients. The Intake RN is the initial contact with referral sources and potential patients, coordinates the referral and intake process, facilitates the admission process and maintains communication with referral sources, families, patients, and unit staff. The Intake RN works with the Business Office regarding patient financial data and verification and prior authorization of insurance benefits as needed, as reputed company as with the UR Department for the certification of patients admitted.

Responsibilities

• Provides telephonic and in-person risk assessment to assist the physician in identification of appropriate level of care for potential patients.
• Serves as the initial contact with referral sources and potential patients.
• Coordinates the referral and intake process.
• Facilitates the admission process.
• Maintains communication with referral sources, families, patients, and unit staff.
• Works with the Business Office regarding patient financial data and verification.
• Handles prior authorization of insurance benefits as needed.
• Works with the UR Department for the certification of patients admitted.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited reputed company nursing required.
• Registered reputed company RN license issued by the reputed company required.

• A minimum of three years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
