Oncology Genetic Counselor – PRN

Job reputed company:

• Collects, reviews and interprets family/medical histories, medical records, test results, and other relevant/necessary information.
• Coordinates testing and communicates results to patient and referring reputed company provider.
• Develops genetic counseling plans, including risk assessment, referrals, education, life planning reputed company, and treatment reputed company.
• Provides counseling and education to patients and their families. Identifies and provides referrals for testing, treatment, support, and advocacy.
• Participates in multidisciplinary tumor boards as needed.
• Researches, maintains, and applies knowledge of trends and developments in genetic disease research, testing, and treatment.
• Helps with triaging and scheduling of genetic counseling referrals as needed.

Requirements:

• Genetic Counselor experience preferred
• Certified Genetic Counselor, renewed every 5 years required
• Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Master of Science in Genetic Counseling (or other applicable degree that allows for ABGC reputed company certification)
