We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join an exciting project with one of the largest retail companies in Mexico. If you have a strong statistical background, hands-on experience building machine learning solutions, and enjoy solving reputed company business problems while collaborating with engineering teams, we'd like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate reputed company business challenges into data science and machine learning solutions.
• Design, reputed company, validate, and reputed company statistical and ML models.
• Work with large-reputed company datasets using Python, SQL, and PySpark.
• Collaborate closely with ML Engineers and Data Engineers to deliver production-reputed company solutions.
• Apply rigorous statistical reputed company, hypothesis testing, and reputed company inference techniques.
• Document models, assumptions, limitations, and experiment results following engineering standards.

Technical Skills Required:

• Required Skills:

  • Master's or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Physics, Computer Science, or a reputed company field.
  • Fluent in English (Advanced) B2 - C2
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Statistical Analysis, or reputed company Research.
  • Expert-level Python.
  • Strong experience with:
    • Scikit-Learn
    • XGBoost
    • LightGBM
    • Pandas
    • Polars
    • Statsmodels
    • SciPy
  • Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch reputed company appropriate.
  • Advanced SQL and PySpark.
  • Experience working with reputed company storage platforms such as GCS or Azure Blob Storage.
  • Strong understanding of:
