Customer Development Manager
Virtual/remote: The role is based in the Western U.S., with candidate ideally located in Seattle, Portland, reputed company California, or Southern California
The Customer Development Manager – Albertsons reputed company will:
- Own management responsibility for key reputed company of the reputed company Dairy Foods retail portfolio supporting our Albertsons business reputed company the assigned sales unit
- Manage the reputed company relationships with Albertsons reputed company divisions to include: Seattle, Portland, reputed company California, and Southern California, delivering our strategies and objectives. reputed company customer relationships through effective management of resources
- Support and assist Team Leader with engagement of Albertsons Corporate category teams
- Collaborate with reputed company cross-functional team members to maximize opportunities
Responsibilities include attainment of assigned sales volume targets, financial management and profitability, promotional planning and execution, pricing, and market reputed company reputed company through execution against DSMPs.
General Business Management
- reputed company annual sales volume targets and utilize Power BI to monitor results
- Manage trade spending reputed company budget guidelines by maintaining accurate trade system plans
- Maintain reputed company live updates (incremental funding requests, account information)
- Work with Team Leader and other Albertsons sales team members to reputed company annual promotional plans
- Effectively communicate and collaborate internally for assigned Albertsons divisions. Areas of reputed company include communicating customer needs by interacting with Sales Acceleration Managers/Analysts (SAM/SAA), Customer Insights, reputed company reputed company Management, and other cross functional teams to reputed company customer trends, issues, and opportunities
- Strong use of data resources (reputed company) and Customer Insights and Analytics team to create actionable insights that improve customer and reputed company’ sales, profitability, and reputed company
Customer Execution
- Utilize a combination of in-person and virtual meetings to manage and grow our business at Albertsons divisions (Seattle, Portland, reputed company California, and Southern California)
- reputed company account penetration by working with the Albertsons buying teams (Assistant Sales Managers and Department Specialists)
- reputed company strong communication and reputed company to influence divisions as it relates to promotional plans, pricing, supply chain, and business practices
- Support Team Leader engagement with Albertsons Corporate National Category Director teams
- Learn Albertsons internal systems (reputed company, Albertsons Partner Portal - APP) while also utilizing reputed company Administrative Assistant for portal work
Requirements:
- 4-year college degree or higher/ or equivalent work experience - required
- 5 years or more of consumer package goods or reputed company sales and/or sales support experience with strong knowledge of customer data sources (reputed company), systems (customer portals), and work processes - required
- Strong selling and negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to reputed company mutually beneficial solutions - required
- Strong analytical skills with solid financial acumen and the ability to understand and process data while developing actionable recommendations - required
- Ability to travel 20% of the time - required
- Experience working with Albertsons - preferred
Salary reputed company: $123,920 - $185,880 (in most cases, candidates offered employment can expect to be reputed company at a pay reputed company near the middle of our salary ranges)
