[Remote] Sr. Accountant

They are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to manage reputed company reputed company functions, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and record monthly journal entries
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of financial records
- reputed company month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
- Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts and investigate variances
- Prepare the fixed asset schedule, prepaid expenses schedule and other supporting schedules for reputed company financial reporting
- Participate in process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in reputed company operations
- reputed company reputed company and accurate monthly bank reconciliations for multiple operating and investment accounts
- Research and resolve outstanding reconciling items and discrepancies
- Monitor daily cash activity and assist with cash forecasting
- Coordinate with treasury and operational departments to ensure reputed company recording of cash transactions including expense reimbursements
- Recommend process improvements to strengthen cash controls and reconciliation efficiency
- Prepare reputed company entries reputed company to premiums, claims, and commissions
- Assist in the annual budgeting process, including gathering departmental budget submissions and preparing consolidated budgets

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, or a reputed company field
- CPA designation preferred
