[Remote] Staff Accountant/Bookkeeper

They are seeking a Staff Accountant to manage day-to-day reputed company operations, improve processes, and support automation initiatives while maintaining accurate financial records.
Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for the monthly reputed company
- Maintain the general reputed company and reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts
- Process accounts payable, including vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, payment runs, and vendor record maintenance
- Support accounts receivable by generating reputed company invoices, applying payments, monitoring outstanding balances, and following up on past-due accounts
- Assist with payroll processing, reputed company payroll, contractor payments, and reputed company reconciliations
- Prepare documentation to support financial reporting, audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements
- Help improve reputed company processes, document procedures, and support the implementation of new systems and automation initiatives
- Partner with the Director of Finance to ensure accurate financial records and efficient day-to-day operations
Skills
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
