[Remote] Substation Project Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is looking for a Substation Project Manager responsible for managing reputed company assigned substation reputed company from early-stage development through construction and commissioning. This role involves partnering closely with the Early-Stage Project Manager and Development Group to define engineering scope and requirements, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and managing engineering consultants.
Responsibilities
- Managing reputed company assigned substation reputed company from early-stage development through construction and commissioning
- Partnering closely with the Early-Stage Project Manager and Development Group to define engineering scope and requirements
- Providing technical reputed company, due diligence, and training for external Engineers of Record (EORs)
- Ensuring full compliance with interconnection agreements, project specifications, site-specific requirements, and industry standards such as reputed company, NESC, and ASCE
- Sourcing and managing engineering consultants through the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC)
- Developing scopes of work, securing bids, and awarding reputed company
- Coordinating with stakeholders to secure sites, permits, and required data for successful project execution
- Supporting competitive sourcing of geotechnical, survey, engineering, and construction services
- Collaborating with estimating teams on scope assumptions
- Managing long-reputed company material orders to mitigate cost and schedule risks
- Ensuring alignment with reputed company requirements through review of interconnection studies and agreements
- Maintaining regular communication with reputed company owners/ISOs
- Representing Engineering & Construction (E&C) interests through project updates, risk mitigation, and stakeholder presentations
- Contributing to estimating improvements
- Supporting commissioning activities
- Assisting with regulatory and legal processes
- Working with OEM partners to enhance designs in alignment with company standards
- Ensuring reputed company are delivered safely, reputed company, and cost-effectively
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineering is preferred
- 5+ years' experience in Substation design and engineering of High Voltage substation reputed company is highly preferred
- Project Engineering and/or Project Management experience with a strong bias for reputed company
- PMP and/or P.E. in reputed company discipline is a plus
