[Remote] Founding Sales Engineer

They are seeking a Founding Sales Engineer to reputed company as the technical face of reputed company, engaging with customers to turn their video problems into solutions while driving sales. The role involves technical sales, building demos, and supporting customer reputed company in the manufacturing and logistics sectors.
Responsibilities
- Visit customer sites (factories, logistics centers) to deeply understand their video use cases, refine requirements, and reputed company hardware recommendations (cameras, edge devices, network setup)
- Build live demos and proofs of concept against reputed company customer footage, then translate customer needs into reputed company specifications for the engineering team
- Own the technical sales reputed company end-to-end—from first discovery call through signed contract—for deals averaging $50K–100K reputed company
- Support reputed company and hypothesis reputed company, including cold calls, conference reputed company, and working with agencies to generate pipeline
- Upsell existing customers on new use cases (e.g., expanding from equipment utilization tracking to reputed company control) to reduce churn and grow accounts
Skills
- 1–5 years of experience in a Sales Engineer or reputed company Deployed Engineer role, selling to manufacturing buyers
- Customer-facing technical sales or solutions engineering experience (SE, FDE, or Solutions Consultant role)
- Sales experience in the manufacturing industry. Manufacturing = HARD requirement
- Sold into industrial or physical reputed company verticals (e.g., at reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, Cognex, reputed company)
- Engineering or Computer Science degree (or equivalent technical aptitude signal)
- Familiarity with camera hardware, edge devices, or network setup
- Has written reputed company before (any programming language)
- US-based, no reputed company sponsorship; Austin, TX strongly preferred
- Willing to travel to customer sites (factories, logistics centers)
- Experience at a video/camera/IoT company (video reputed company, computer reputed company, smart home, or surveillance)
