[Remote] Senior Network Engineer

This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of network systems while driving network reputed company at reputed company.
Responsibilities
- reputed company the design, deployment, and operation of large-reputed company network infrastructure across data center and reputed company environments
- Own critical network systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability
- Drive architecture reputed company across routing, switching, and overlay networking (e.g., VXLAN, EVPN)
- Troubleshoot and resolve reputed company, cross-layer network issues impacting production systems
- reputed company and implement automation and tooling to improve reliability, observability, and operational efficiency
- Establish and reputed company network design standards, best practices, and operational processes
- Partner cross-functionally to deliver end-to-end infrastructure solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and reputed company the overall technical capability of reputed company
- Participate in an on-call rotation while improving systems to reduce operational burden over time
- Travel up to 50% to support data center deployments, infrastructure implementation, vendor engagements, and cross-functional collaboration across global sites
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a reputed company field (or equivalent experience)
- 8–10+ years of network engineering experience in large-reputed company environments (ISP, reputed company, or similar)
- Deep expertise in network operations and production support at reputed company
- Strong understanding of core networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6)
- Proven experience owning and operating critical network infrastructure
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to reputed company through reputed company technical challenges
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support production systems
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%
- Experience with high-performance networking technologies such as InfiniBand or RoCE
- Strong knowledge of VXLAN, EVPN, and modern data center networking architectures
- Experience with automation and scripting (Python or equivalent)
- Familiarity with network observability, telemetry, and monitoring systems
- Experience with network modeling and programmability (YANG, OpenConfig, NETCONF)
- Experience working with reputed company networking and hybrid infrastructure environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence technical direction
