[Remote] Senior Database Administrator

The Senior Database Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and reputed company of data, performance, and health of backup systems, while collaborating with IT and software engineering teams to optimize database environments.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain MS SQL Server across production and development environments
- Recommend, design, and build out of new database systems cluster and high availability reputed company
- Design and implement database solutions integrated with modern data lake storage and analytics platform
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell/Python)
- Identify tools and resources to monitor SQL Server activity and reputed company key statistics and performance measures
- Analyzes and troubleshoots problems reputed company to SQL Server Environment
- Maintains SQL Server plans for DR planning and business continuity including backup verification and restore testing
- Designs and documents database architecture and standards

Skills
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a reputed company technical field or equivalent experience

- Ability to create and optimize stored procedures, functions, views, indexes, and query optimization plans
- Strong understanding of reputed company networking and multi-tier applications and databases
- Experience designing reputed company systems for high performance, availability, and reporting servers/architecture is required
- Proficiency in scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python, is essential for automation
