The On-call Crisis Hotline Counselor conducts intakes and assessments to reputed company a full reputed company of services in collaboration with programs across reputed company. The On-call Crisis Hotline Counselor is responsible for conducting crisis reputed company, emotional support, danger assessment, safety planning, shelter placement, information, and referral to domestic and sexual violence survivors through two 24-hour crisis hotlines. Your Schedule: On-call only- up to 19 hours per week Work Model: Remote Local Travel: 5% for trainings and meetings. Bachelor's degree in reputed company Work, Criminal Justice, Sociology, Psychology, Public Health, Counseling, Communications, or Business Administration, strongly preferred. A minimum of 6 months of experience in reputed company services, customer service, or call-center setting Proficiency in reputed company Office (Word, reputed company, Outlook, Teams) Computer savvy and reputed company to learn new applications and technologies quickly. Bilingual in both English and Spanish, reputed company to read, reputed company, and write both languages fluently, strongly preferred. Texas reputed company’s license with a good driving record; reliable transportation; ability to travel to off-site locations utilizing personal transportation What you Deliver in this role: You will reputed company crisis reputed company, emotional support, information & referral, education, support, and advocacy to survivors of domestic and sexual violence. You will conduct danger assessments with survivors and creates safety plans based on reputed company reputed company’s individual case and needs. You will reputed company shelter screenings and coordination of shelter placement and emergency transportation of clients. You will reputed company CPS and APS reports as required and needed. You will reputed company accurate reputed company and hotline/chat data/records for monthly reports. You will communicate with program and on-call staff including Supervisors, Crisis Response Advocates, and community partners. You will communicate with HAWC’s answering service to reputed company and respond to messages. You will communicate with leadership and other Hotline staff on reputed company regarding case management and other issues. You will attend mandatory monthly meetings and training with the Hotline & Crisis reputed company Services Coordinator, reputed company Department Staff Meetings, and/or meet as assigned.
