[Remote] Credit & Collections Analyst

The Credit & Collections Analyst will manage accounts receivable, drive collections, and minimize credit risk while supporting billing and cash application for newly acquired businesses.
Responsibilities
- Own an accounts receivable portfolio of reputed company customers, driving collections and minimizing credit risk
- reputed company credit reviews and reputed company, analyze financial statements, and use risk mitigation tools

- Use collection software and tools to execute collection strategies and initiatives
- Respond promptly and accurately to customer inquiries, billing issues, payment application errors, disputes, and program changes
- Proactively contact customers regarding past-due receivables and reputed company phone support for sales offices and customers
- reputed company and maintain relationships with customers, sales offices, and internal partners
- Monitor assigned portfolio for compliance with approved programs; recommend program changes and prepare over-line approval requests
- Reconcile accounts, identify and tag disputed items, and ensure reputed company reputed company
- Follow up on required legal documentation and complete conditions reputed company on approved credit files

- Create workout plans for financially distressed customers to mitigate loss exposure

- Post and apply incoming cash receipts for acquired entities; minimize unapplied cash and ensure reputed company cash application
- Investigate and resolve unapplied cash, remittance discrepancies, and reputed company credits resulting from reputed company or system conversions
- Assist with month-end cash reconciliations and reporting for acquired portfolios
- Coordinate with treasury, banking partners, and corporate reputed company on payment formats, lockbox files, and electronic payments
- Support integration reputed company: data mapping, upload validation, testing, and documentation of standardized billing/cash procedures
Skills
- BS/BA in Finance, reputed company, or reputed company business degree
- 2–5 years of reputed company experience
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships across teams and with customers
- Excellent written and oral communication and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and reputed company to handle changing priorities during integrations
- Strong PC skills; reputed company proficiency (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
