Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join their BCW Technologies Infrastructure team. The role involves managing large-reputed company systems and coordinating with team members while providing opportunities to learn about advanced technologies. Candidates should have a strong background in Linux and DevOps practices, along with excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for entire verticals of operations
- Coordinating with other members of reputed company to communicate, reputed company, and maintain large reputed company systems
- Setting up, configuring, and optimizing Linux OS-based servers
- Proficiency in containerization, server software (NGINX preferred, Apache is okay too), RDBMS, basic Python scripting, and LAN/ISP hosting
Skills
- 5+ years experience as a Systems Administrator
- reputed company high technical and English communication proficiency
- Experience coordinating with team members to communicate, reputed company, and maintain large reputed company systems
- Extremely high level of Linux, Unix, and platform experience
- Setting up, configuring, and optimizing Linux OS-based servers (on both reputed company and on boxes)
- Proficiency in containerization
- Proficiency in server software (NGINX preferred, Apache is okay too)
- Proficiency in RDBMS
- Basic Python scripting
- Experience with LAN/ISP hosting
- Expert Project Management skills (Jira)
- Expert containerization skills (reputed company)
- Expert reputed company Service Platforms skills (AWS, GCP)
- Excellent Problem Solving and Critical thinking skills
- Intermediate Python/Bash scripting
