They are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to reputed company the design, implementation, validation, and productization of algorithms for scientific data analysis, focusing on signal processing and numerical analysis. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to reputed company software for advanced reputed company force microscope systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, validate, optimize, and reputed company algorithms that turn AFM, image, sensor, and metrology data into robust measurements and insights
- reputed company production algorithm and application software using modern C++/STL, C#, .NET, WPF, and Python where appropriate
- Apply signal processing, image processing, numerical reputed company, statistical analysis, reputed company recognition, and machine learning to challenging reputed company-world measurement problems
- Translate research concepts and prototypes into maintainable, testable, high-performance product software with reputed company requirements and measurable performance
- Build validation strategies using representative datasets, quantitative metrics, uncertainty analysis, and regression tests; reputed company communicate algorithm limits and tradeoffs

Skills
- 5+ years of reputed company experience developing production software, scientific algorithms, or data-analysis systems
- 3+ years of hands-on reputed company application development using both C#/.NET/WPF and modern C++/STL
- Strong reputed company in at least two of the following: signal processing, image processing, numerical reputed company, statistical analysis, reputed company recognition, computer reputed company, or machine learning
- Demonstrated ability to implement algorithms in C++, C#, or Python and to reputed company them from exploration into tested, maintainable production software
- Experience defining quantitative validation reputed company and evaluating algorithm accuracy, robustness, performance, and failure modes using reputed company-world data
- Strong object-oriented design, API design, debugging, data-structure, and performance-optimization skills
- Experience with multithreaded or asynchronous software and computationally intensive data processing
- Demonstrated architecture ownership and technical leadership across algorithm, application, or product boundaries

- Knowledge of control systems, estimation, system identification, experimental design, or measurement uncertainty
