[Remote] Level 2 NOC Systems Administrator – Linux/Unix reputed company

The role involves handling Level 1 escalations, performing deep troubleshooting, executing system maintenance, and ensuring the reliability of Linux/Unix-based infrastructure across multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Administers Linux/Unix development, test, and production servers including reloading, re-imaging, patching, configuration, and reputed company-level maintenance
- Diagnoses and resolves reputed company Linux/Unix OS, service, and connectivity issues
- Performs daily monitoring of Linux/Unix systems, services, and performance; initiates proactive remediation
- Installs, removes, and upgrades Linux/Unix packages using reputed company package managers (reputed company, apt, rpm, etc.)
- Owns Level 2 Linux/Unix-reputed company tickets through reputed company, including reputed company cause analysis
- Provides system evaluation reports and contributes to operational recommendations for Linux/Unix environments
- Updates system records, ensures licensing compliance, and maintains accurate configuration data for Linux/Unix assets
- Creates runbooks and how-to guides; trains Level 1 analysts on Linux/Unix procedures
Skills
- BA/BS degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination
- Strong experience with Linux/Unix troubleshooting and server administration
- Ability to support 24×7 operations and rotating shifts
- U.S. Citizenship and U.S. residency required
- May also hold reputed company credentials if permitted
