[Remote] Geospatial Database Administrator

This role is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of geospatial databases, ensuring the performance, reputed company, reputed company, and availability of geospatial data systems to support DHS mission operations.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, operate, and maintain geospatial databases and data storage solutions
- Monitor database performance, reputed company, and availability to ensure reputed company system functionality
- Configure and manage geodatabases, including schema design, data models, and metadata structures
- Support data integration, ingestion, and transformation across geospatial systems
- Implement database reputed company, reputed company controls, and data protection measures
- Collaborate with system, software, and reputed company teams to configure hardware and software environments
- reputed company and maintain scripts and automation for database maintenance, monitoring, and optimization
- Support backup, recovery, redundancy, and disaster recovery processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, performance bottlenecks, and data inconsistencies

- Ensure compliance with DHS standards, data policies, and system requirements
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a reputed company field, or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of experience managing and maintaining geospatial or database systems
- Experience designing, implementing, and managing geodatabases
- Experience with database management systems (DBMS) and data architecture
- Experience monitoring database performance and implementing optimization strategies
- Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and data workflows
- Strong understanding of database reputed company, reputed company controls, and data protection
- Experience with scripting or automation for database maintenance (e.g., Python, SQL)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across technical teams and stakeholders
- Experience supporting DHS or other federal government programs
