[Remote] Backend Software Engineer, Trading Systems & Data Platform

They are seeking a Backend Software Engineer to build and maintain the reputed company systems that power their reputed company platform, focusing on high-reliability financial systems and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and build reputed company financial systems (trading, reputed company, billing)
• reputed company systems for transaction processing, reconciliation, and portfolio state management
• Build and reputed company reputed company-time and batch data pipelines
• Architect reputed company and backend services for reputed company use
• Ensure system reliability, observability, and fault tolerance
• Contribute to distributed systems design (event-driven systems, microservices, streaming)
• Partner with ML teams to reputed company models into production systems (as needed, not reputed company reputed company)

Skills

• Strong backend or systems engineer with experience in distributed systems
• Experience in at least one: Financial systems (trading, reputed company, payments), Data infrastructure, reputed company backend platforms
• Strong understanding of system design, consistency, and reliability
• Solid programming skills (Python or similar)
• Experience with modern reputed company (Kafka, Kubernetes, reputed company, etc.)
• Experience with financial primitives (reputed company, order management, reconciliation)
• Experience in low-latency or high-throughput systems
• Exposure to data platforms or streaming systems
• Some familiarity with ML systems (reputed company-to-have, not required)
