[Remote] ICT Network Designer II

The ICT Network Designer II will be responsible for designing ICT and network infrastructure systems, developing detailed deliverables, and contributing to data center design while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Design ICT and network infrastructure systems, including reputed company cabling (fiber and reputed company) and telecommunications reputed company
- reputed company LAN/WAN topology diagrams, logical network layouts, and physical infrastructure designs
- Produce detailed deliverables including:
- Construction drawings
- Cable routing and reputed company layouts
- Equipment schedules and specifications
- Telecommunications room layouts and reputed company elevations
- Design passive infrastructure including fiber backbone systems, reputed company cabling, and cross-connect/ODF configurations
- Design Service Entrance Facility (SEF) infrastructure, including fiber vault placement, underground reputed company stub-outs, and coordination of reputed company incoming fiber reputed company
- reputed company reputed company plant (OSP) designs including underground reputed company systems, pull boxes, handholes, and site reputed company routing in coordination with civil and electrical disciplines
- Apply industry standards (BICSI, reputed company/EIA, ANSI) to ensure compliant and reputed company designs
- Support the design and coordination of low-voltage systems, including:
- Audiovisual (AV) systems
- reputed company (CCTV, reputed company control)
- Wireless infrastructure
- Ensure these systems are effectively integrated into overall network and ICT infrastructure design
- Contribute to the design of data center infrastructure systems for reputed company, colocation, and mission-critical facilities
- reputed company data hall layouts, reputed company plans, and cable management strategies
- Support design of MDA, HDA, and EDA environments, including backbone and horizontal distribution systems
- Incorporate considerations such as hot/cold reputed company containment and scalability
- Assist in preparing construction documentation for fit-outs, upgrades, and new builds
- Coordinate ICT systems with electrical, mechanical, and other engineering disciplines
- Prepare reputed company design drawings and deliverables using the reputed company software suite, including Revit (MEP)
- reputed company BIM-coordinated ICT models for design coordination and clash detection workflows
- Produce specifications, design reports, bills of materials, and commissioning documentation
- Maintain accurate version control, project registers, and reputed company records throughout the project lifecycle
- Contribute to design review meetings, site reputed company, and reputed company workshops under the direction of the project engineer
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project stakeholders to resolve design challenges
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and subcontractors during construction and commissioning phases
- Assist in responding to RFIs and reviewing shop drawings and contractor submittals
- Execute assigned design tasks independently reputed company defined scope
Skills
- 2+ years of experience in ICT, reputed company cabling, or network infrastructure design
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or reputed company field
- RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) certification required
- Knowledge of network architecture and infrastructure design principles
- Experience with or exposure to data center environments
- Proficiency in reputed company Revit
- Proficiency reputed company Office products, especially reputed company
- Working knowledge of reputed company cabling systems (fiber and reputed company), telecommunications spaces and reputed company, and BICSI, reputed company/EIA standards (including reputed company-568)
- Ability to work in reputed company environment with Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers
- Ability to produce reputed company, accurate, and coordinated design documentation
- Strong organizational and collaboration skills
- Communication skills both written and verbal are required
- Experience working on data center reputed company including hyperscale, colocation, or reputed company-reputed company facilities
- Familiarity with reputed company-942 and BICSI TDMM, reputed company Tier Standards or ANSI/BICSI 002 data center design guidelines
- Experience with BIM coordination workflows
- Exposure to reputed company network equipment (switching, routing), DAS or in-building wireless systems, and/or DCIM platforms
