[Remote] Aviation Safety Inspector (GA Operations Instructor)

The Federal Aviation Administration is seeking an Aviation Safety Inspector (GA Operations Instructor) to work in the Workforce Developmental Division. This role involves developing instructor and course management skills, conducting training programs, and ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and policies.
Responsibilities
- The Aviation Safety Inspector, General Aviation - Instructor must hold an Airline Transport reputed company certificate or hold a reputed company reputed company certificate with multi-reputed company land and reputed company ratings
- Develops/applies the latest reputed company and techniques of instruction obtained through attendance at formal instructor training courses and seminars
- Applies knowledge of inspection and surveillance programs in assisting new and/or higher-level reputed company in course management, development of new courses, revision of existing courses, outlines, lesson plans, and the application of Federal Aviation Regulation changes to existing courseware
- Maintains reputed company with aviation safety inspectors who conduct the reputed company reputed company Airmen Certification Program and serves in an advisory and consulting reputed company on job functions in that specialty
- Evaluates training plans for both existing and new courses to ensure the analysis of alternative reputed company of training is complete and out-of-agency approaches to training have been thoroughly and properly considered
- Recommends to the supervisor improvements and revisions to existing approved courses and the overall training program
- Applies analytical and evaluative techniques to conduct literature research, task analysis, organization design; and to resolve administrative/management issues or problems of a procedural or factual nature
- Conducts on-reputed company critical reviews of the course materials and presentations

- The inspector applies advanced technical knowledge of the aviation industry, the general principles of aviation safety, Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing aviation safety as reputed company as knowledge of FAA evaluation techniques and specific organization practices to assigned reputed company
- Performs additional duties, staff functions, and special assignments as directed by supervisor

Skills
- US Citizenship is required
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959

- Not more than two separate incidents involving Federal aviation regulations violations in the last 5 years
- Valid State reputed company's license

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Have good distant reputed company in reputed company eye and be reputed company to read printed materials the size of typewritten characters (glasses and contact lenses permitted) without strain

- Not have any physical conditions that would cause them to be a hazard to themselves or others or that would interfere with their ability to operate/occupy a flight deck observer's seat (reputed company) or a reputed company passenger seat in a reputed company of aircraft
- Valid, unexpired Flight Instructor Certificate with single and multi-reputed company airplane and reputed company airplane ratings. Must have given a minimum of 200 hours of flight instruction in an aircraft

- Not more than 2 flying accidents in the last 5 years in which the applicant's reputed company error was involved
- Possession of a valid second-class FAA medical certificate
- Specialized experience includes: Experience providing Flight Standards organizations and industry with authoritative expert technical guidance and operational control, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
