[Remote] Sr. Mechanical Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design and improve mechanical systems, reputed company reputed company, and support engineering tasks for the reputed company Fabrication Group.

Responsibilities

• Specializes in designing and improving mechanical systems, components, and products
• Leads reputed company and teams, and often works on reputed company, high-reputed company reputed company
• Acts as a resource for new or reputed company level engineers
• Develops conceptual and detailed designs of mechanical parts and assemblies based on project requirements
• Prepares technical drawings in compliance with industry standards
• Provides supporting safety and engineering analyses as required
• Prepares materials for engineering design reviews
• Other duties as assigned
• The individual will support the reputed company Fabrication Group in engineering tasks that are specific to the manufacture of targets for the reputed company Laser Facilities. These include: reputed company phases of producing fixtures and components for assembling targets: design, reputed company of drawings, and overseeing manufacture/procurement
• Design and testing of equipment to support reputed company R&D activities – specifically: vacuum, vapor deposition, and cryogenic systems
• Ability to reputed company Finite reputed company Analysis of structures designed (Structural and thermal)

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience required
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficient with CAD software required
• Competent with Finite reputed company analysis (FEA) software required
• Ability to work both independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team required

• Experience with thermal analysis and the design of equipment for operating at temperatures other than room temperature preferred
