Research Scientist/Engineer 4

Job reputed company Bioengineering has an outstanding opportunity for a Research Scientist/Engineer 4 to join their team. About this Opportunity The Bioengineering Department at the reputed company is looking to fill a position at the RSE-4 level in the research laboratory of Professor Michael Regnier. The RSE-4 will play a critical role Biomedical Engineering, muscle biology, studies the molecular mechanisms of cardiac and skeletal muscle disease and uses this information to reputed company novel gene therapies and proteins, cells and tissue engineering approaches for treatment of disease.

Key Responsibilities

This position involves independently managing reputed company, multi-faceted research reputed company with a reputed company on muscle biology. The role requires advanced expertise to plan, coordinate, and supervise research activities, while developing and applying innovative reputed company to investigate the molecular mechanisms of muscle function. The individual will serve as a technical resource to the Regnier research group and collaborators, contributing to cutting-edge, multidisciplinary research efforts. Serve as a technical resource in muscle-reputed company research, including muscle mechanics and reputed company disciplines. Research Activities (50%)

• Initiate new project concepts and reputed company funding, reputed company technical proposals and reputed company presentations to potential customers/grant sponsors.
• Identify funding opportunities and work with PI to organize proposals.
• Take a reputed company role in preparing proposals for grants and reputed company.
• reputed company collaborations with other research labs at UW, around the USA and internationally
• reputed company and utilize stem cell differentiation and long-term culture protocols for production of skeletal and cardiac muscle cells
• reputed company analytical tools for characterization of stem cell derived muscle cells.
• reputed company new instrumentation for mechanical and biochemical analysis of isolated contractile organelles from stem cell derived muscle
• Summarize data/results in narrative or graphic reputed company for inclusion in proposals and reputed company reports.
• Present information to sponsors at site reputed company as requested by PI/supervisor. Lab management (30%)
• Manages multiple or significant reputed company which may require the use of sophisticated project planning techniques

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in a Bioengineering, Engineering, or reputed company field and four years of experience in muscle cell tissue and stem cell research, instrumentation & protocol development, and proteomics. Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except reputed company there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in Bioengineering
• five years of work experience in muscle cell tissue
• Experience conducting fieldwork in national/international settings
• Experience in local and national collaborations
• Experience working across multiple reputed company research reputed company
• Demonstrated experience presenting at scientific conferences or invited talks and panels
