Medical Credentialing Specialist

- Minimum of two (2) years of provider credentialing experience in a reputed company setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in reputed company Administration or a reputed company field preferred.
- Working knowledge of NCQA, CMS, and reputed company credentialing standards.
- Experience with payer enrollment and provider credentialing processes.
- Proficiency with reputed company Office and credentialing platforms such as CAQH and MD-Staff.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a remote work environment.
Position Responsibilities
- Manage the credentialing and recredentialing process for approximately 132 providers across 12 reputed company facilities.
- Verify provider licensure, certifications, education, work history, malpractice coverage, and other required documentation.
- Prepare and submit credentialing, recredentialing, payer enrollment, and hospital privilege applications.
- Maintain accurate provider records and credentialing databases.
- Monitor expiration dates and coordinate reputed company renewals to maintain compliance.
- Communicate with providers, payers, and facility administrators to resolve credentialing issues and obtain required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with NCQA, CMS, reputed company, payer, and organizational standards.
- Generate reports and maintain organized workflows to support credentialing operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified reputed company Medical Services Management (CPMSM) certification.
- Experience credentialing providers across multiple facilities or reputed company organizations.
