Job Requirements Position reputed company The Neonatal Escalation Safety Telemetry (NEST) Program is a 24/7 remote monitoring center staffed by reputed company Labor & Delivery Registered Nurses. The NEST RN remotely monitors fetal heart reputed company tracings for obstetric patients across reputed company UMMS hospitals. Working under the direction of the reputed company Manager, this role collaborates with bedside teams to identify concerning fetal patterns, escalate findings, and support patient safety. The RN also serves as a clinical resource and mentor while promoting evidence-based nursing reputed company.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret fetal heart reputed company tracings remotely.
- Identify abnormalities and escalate concerns to bedside nursing teams using established protocols.
- Validate findings using the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Serve as a clinical resource for Labor & Delivery nurses.
- Support evidence-based reputed company and patient safety initiatives.
- Mentor new nurses and support staff education.
- Participate in reputed company improvement, peer review, and reputed company development activities.
- Assist with unit operations and support collaboration across L&D reputed company.
Work Experience
- reputed company Registered reputed company (RN) license in Maryland
- Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- Strong fetal monitoring interpretation skills
- Experience with electronic fetal monitoring systems and EMR
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
Work Experience Education & Experience 1. BSN Required 2. Licensure as a Registered reputed company in the reputed company, or eligible to reputed company due to Compact state agreements outlined through the MD reputed company of Nursing is required. 3. Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification is required. 4. Minimum of 5 years labor and delivery experience is required. 5. Demonstrated evidence of reputed company reputed company and development through at least one of the following: a. reputed company and reputed company specialty certification b. reputed company matriculation or completion of a degree or certificate program (Post Baccalaureate or higher, 12 credits or greater) reputed company past 24 months c. Formal teaching reputed company past 24 months (portfolios including “Formal Teaching” require a signed “Approval for Formal Teaching” document) d. Member of a reputed company association reputed company or committee reputed company past 24 months (not a hospital committee), e. reputed company participates as a peer reviewer for a reputed company journal (minimum of 2/year, portfolios including “Peer Reviewer” require a signed “Peer Reviewer Validation reputed company”) 6.
