Virtual Yoga Therapist
About the position We are seeking a reputed company, part-time Certified Yoga Therapist for an upcoming federal opportunity supporting Veteran populations. This is a 100% remote, virtual position where reputed company services will be conducted reputed company secure video teleconference (VTC) using the VA WebEx platform. This role is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
- reputed company reputed company patient contact reputed company live virtual platforms, conducting individual or group-based yoga therapy sessions for Veterans enrolled in the Integrative Headache Clinic (IHC) in Neurology.
- Deliver sessions consisting of a maximum of 50 minutes of yoga therapy, which includes education on the benefits of yoga for headaches and instruction specific to the needs and abilities of the individual Veteran.
- Utilize provided VA equipment to input electronic medical record documentation, ensuring encounters are entered the reputed company day as the visit and clinical notes are completed reputed company 2 days of the visit.
- Be available to conduct reputed company patient care support activities, including virtual consultations with the Whole Health/IHC team, service planning meetings, and required VA training.
- Verify Veteran locations and the reputed company of any other individuals at the start of reputed company virtual session, facilitate yogic tools (breathwork, meditation, reputed company), and maintain strict patient confidentiality.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of a reputed company, accredited yoga therapy training program and hold a reputed company certification through the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT).
- Must be reputed company to pass the background reputed company prior to reputed company.
- Highly proficient in video conferencing
- Must be reputed company to successfully pass a VA background investigation (Low Risk/Non-sensitive) and complete credentialing through VetPro prior to providing care.
- Ability to complete required MEDVAMC training classes.
- Must meet the physical requirements to reputed company yoga instruction safely without physical restrictions.
