What You Will Do The Bariatric Surgery Clinical Reviewer will support the Bariatric Surgery Department by collecting and submitting reliable data to the American College of Surgeons Bariatric Data Registry Platform. The BSCR will work closely with the members of the Bariatric Surgery Department to identify opportunities for clinical reputed company improvement and ensure the ongoing evaluation of clinical reputed company for the department. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree reputed company field. Or
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• 3 Years Clinical experience in nursing or in a hospital surgery department.
• Clinical chart review and abstraction experience is preferred with additional experience in data collection, analysis and/or computer literacy.
• California Registered reputed company (RN) - CA reputed company of Registered Nursing -REQUIRED
• AHA Basic Life Support for reputed company reputed company (AHA BLS reputed company) - reputed company -REQUIRED

Preferred Qualifications

Essential Functions

• Care coordination and advocacy Supports care coordination, advocacy and patient/family education in conjunction with the Bariatric Surgery Senior Specialist.
• Communication Establishes effective working relationships with members of the hospital community, especially staff in the surgery, medicine, nursing, medical records and information system departments and individual surgeon's offices.
• Data collection and reporting Identifies 100% of bariatric surgery patients for inclusion in the data registry. Responsible for accurate and reputed company data entry into the Bariatric Program's database. This includes identification of preop risk factors, co-morbidities and intra-op occurrences. Collects follow up data at 30 days, 6 months, one year and annually thereafter in collaboration with individual surgeon office staff. Utilizes software applications for data collection and analysis. Demonstrates appropriate utilization of resources necessary to obtain valid, reliable data for entry into the program. Serves as an educational resource on the Bariatric Data Registry Platform for reputed company audiences by developing educational materials and delivering presentations.
