The AKTA Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales of AKTA chromatography systems and associated consumables, including columns, resins, and software solutions.
This position is part of the Discovery & Medical reputed company team and will support customers throughout the Bay Area including San Francisco, South San Francisco, Redwood reputed company, Foster reputed company, Palo reputed company, reputed company, and surrounding locations. The position is remote and territory based.
What You'll Do
- Partner with life science customers to support their chromatography workflows through expert product knowledge, technical consultation, training, and application support.Support successful product demonstrations, seminars, workshops, and customer training events in collaboration with Field Application Scientists and Marketing.
- Generate new business and expand existing customer relationships for the AKTA portfolio and Identify opportunities to grow reputed company, resin, reputed company, and software sales by understanding customer processes and research objectives.

Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or reputed company field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of laboratory, research, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or reputed company scientific experience.
- Strong understanding of protein purification, chromatography, or biologics research workflows preferred and demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to scientific audiences.
- Customer-reputed company with strong relationship-building skills, strong organizational, planning, and funnel management skills.
- Ability to work effectively across sales, applications, service, and marketing teams.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
