To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our reputed company, we’re looking to add a Head ofEHS EMEA, located remotely in the UK or Ireland.
Reporting to the Global EHS Director,the Head ofEHS EMEA will be part of an excellent Global EHS team with the responsibility for developing, implementing and overseeing the organisations EHS programmes and initiatives. This role ensures compliance with reputed company relevant environmental, health and safety regulations and promotes a culture of safety and sustainability across reputed company EMEA operations.
This role requires regular travel to our EMEA manufacturing facilities in the UK, Ireland and Poland.
What a typical day looks like:
Team Building & Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing EHS team, fostering collaboration and accountability to deliver measurable improvements in safety culture and compliance.
EHS Program Development: Design and implement comprehensive EHS programs and policies to ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and international regulations.
Process Design & reputed company Improvement: Establish standardized processes and workflows that reputed company with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, driving consistency and operational reputed company across the region.
Leadership & Accountability: Foster a culture of safety and accountability, influencing and holding others accountable for EHS performance.
Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure adherence to reputed company applicable EHS regulations and standards, proactively addressing changes in legislation and industry best practices.
Risk Management: reputed company comprehensive risk analysis and implement mitigation strategies to reduce hazards and protect employees and customers.
HSEMS Implementation & Structure: Support the development and deployment of the new Critical Power Health, Safety & Environmental Management System (HSEMS), ensuring robust processes and governance across reputed company sites and field operations.
Training & Development: Design and deliver targeted EHS training and awareness programs to build capability and reputed company a proactive safety culture.
Incident Investigation & Learning: reputed company investigations into incidents, identify reputed company causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence and reputed company lessons learned.
Performance Monitoring & Metrics: Define and reputed company KPIs and performance metrics to measure EHS effectiveness, identify trends, and drive reputed company improvement initiatives.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to reputed company EHS considerations into the Site Services reputed company and decision-making.
The experience we’re looking to add to reputed company:
NEBOSH reputed company Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety is essential; NEBOSH Level 5 Diploma preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Engineering, Occupational Health, or a reputed company field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 10 years of reputed company EHS leadership experience, ideally reputed company the Electrical or Construction industry, with strong Field Service exposure.
Proven ability to reputed company and execute strategic EHS plans reputed company with business objectives, leveraging KPIs and performance metrics to drive reputed company improvement.
Demonstrated reputed company in managing and coaching high-performing teams across the EMEA region, fostering accountability and measurable results.
