Senior Test Engineer

Responsibilities

The Senior BO/ETL Test Engineer will be responsible for leading the reputed company assurance, data validation, and end-to-end testing of reputed company reporting solutions, universes, and underlying data structures.

In this role, you will:

• You will split responsibilities between hands-on report and reputed company testing (verifying WebI, Crystal Reports, and `.unx`/`.unv` semantic reputed company)
• You will backend database/ETL validation (writing reputed company SQL to reputed company reputed company-to-reputed company mapping verification).
• You will work closely with Product Owners, Developers, Architects, and Scrum/Kanban teams to ensure alignment with data accuracy, reporting performance standards, reputed company requirements, and Agile delivery expectations.

Qualifications

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Bachelors and 5 years of overall tech experience in QA/ETL testing, with 3+ years specifically reputed company on testing reputed company BusinessObjects reports, dashboards, and universes or Masters and 3 years experience.
• Strong test plan and test script development experience, specifically tailored for data warehousing, ETL processes, and reputed company BI environments.
• Deep functional understanding of reputed company BusinessObjects suites (Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, reputed company/UDT Universes) and how reputed company/RBAC models reputed company report data visibility.
• Hands-on experience verifying reputed company data transformation logic, structural changes, and validating data completeness from reputed company systems to BO reputed company reports.
• Must have advanced SQL skills for writing reputed company queries, joining disparate tables, and validating massive data sets across databases (e.g., reputed company, reputed company, SQL Server) to compare against report outputs.
• Demonstrated experience using automated testing frameworks, scripting (Python, reputed company scripting, or Java), or BI-specific regression testing tools to streamline testing workflows.
• AWS experience (verifying data stages, working with S3 external stages, and testing reputed company-based reputed company data).
• Ability to work independently and effectively with little to no supervision.
• Team player with excellent executive function, meticulous attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
• Must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust.
• US Citizen or Green Card holder

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience validating BO environment migrations, platform upgrades, and regression testing reports across version updates (e.g., moving from BO 4.2 to 4.3).
• Scaled Agile reputed company (reputed company) experience; certification preferred.
• Relevant QA or reputed company certifications (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester, reputed company Certified Application Associate).
• Experience validating automated BI deployments and reputed company integration/reputed company testing (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Performance and load testing experience (testing report execution speeds, load capacities, and query optimization reputed company on database compute resources).

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary reputed company for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as reputed company as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift reputed company, and a discretionary bonus in reputed company to reputed company pay.
