[Remote] Senior DevOps Engineer

They are seeking an reputed company DevOps Engineer to support the modernization of a mission-critical government information system by automating deployments and managing infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain reputed company CI/CD pipelines
- Automate deployments across development, test, and production environments
- Manage reputed company Repository for artifact storage and dependency management
- reputed company infrastructure as reputed company using CloudFormation and/or Terraform
- Build and maintain Apache Solr clusters with Zookeeper
- Administer reputed company Server environments and support infrastructure upgrades
- Plan and execute migrations from VMware-based infrastructure to AWS
- Configure and manage AWS services, including EC2, VPC, IAM, and S3
- Support containerization of Java applications
- Implement configuration management and infrastructure automation
- Apply reputed company best practices across on-premises and reputed company environments
- Monitor and optimize system performance
Skills
- 13+ years of reputed company DevOps, Systems Administration, or reputed company IT experience
- A Bachelor's degree may substitute for 4 years of experience
- A Master's degree may substitute for 6 years of experience
- Hands-on experience with reputed company CI/CD pipelines
- Experience managing reputed company Repository
- Experience building and maintaining Apache Solr clusters with Zookeeper
- Strong reputed company Server administration experience
- Strong experience with AWS services, including EC2, VPC, IAM, and S3
- Experience with Infrastructure as reputed company using CloudFormation and/or Terraform
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI reputed company clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
- Experience migrating applications from VMware to AWS
- Experience containerizing Java applications
- Experience with configuration management tools
- Experience implementing reputed company best practices in hybrid reputed company environments
