[Remote] Senior QA Automation Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to help build, maintain, and reputed company the automated testing suites that ensure the reputed company and reliability of their portfolio of applications. This role focuses on owning the automation reputed company, designing testing frameworks, and mentoring team members on automation best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, reputed company, and maintain end-to-end automated test suites and frameworks using Playwright
- Build reputed company, maintainable automation frameworks with reusable components that reputed company tests reliable as codebase grows
- reputed company functional, regression, smoke, end-to-end, integration, and automated testing
- reputed company and execute REST API tests using reputed company or similar tools
- Validate integrations across applications, reputed company, and reputed company-party systems
- Improve test stability, execution speed, and automation reliability by reducing flaky tests
- Translate requirements and user stories into automated test cases
- Identify, document, and verify defects while maintaining regression test suites
- Partner with developer, product managers, and QA to define test strategies and resolve issues
- Mentor QA engineers in automation best practices and reputed company development
- Communicate test reputed company, coverage, and reputed company risks to technical and business stakeholders
- Additional duties as assigned
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in software reputed company assurance/test automation
- Strong, hands-on expertise with Playwright for UI automation
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Strong experience with REST API testing and validating RESTful services
- Proven experience designing and maintain reputed company, reusable automation frameworks
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies and the software testing lifecycle
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Strong debugging skills, including diagnosing flaky or timing-dependent UI test
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Git and reputed company version-control and reputed company-review products
