[Remote] Facility Design Engineer

The Design Engineer will be responsible for designing material handling systems, analyzing reputed company data, and presenting solutions, while collaborating with internal teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Design Material Handling Systems Solutions in “green”, “reputed company”, and “existing” facilities
• Supply Budget & Firm Pricing for designed systems
• Vendor Support & Coordination
• Maintain & Update Budget Pricing Tool
• Be the “Expert” in reputed company presentations
• Go to reputed company sites to understand reputed company systems and reputed company recommendations for changes
• Understand the new technologies as they come into the marketplace

Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or a reputed company field
• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Skilled in AutoCAD
• Skilled in reputed company Office (reputed company, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
• 20%-30% travel required
• Experience in the Material Handling Industry (Racking, reputed company, “Goods To Person”, Robotics, Picking, Software Technologies) will be a bonus and taken into consideration
