[Remote] Mechanical Engineer (HVAC)
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (HVAC & Plumbing) to join their growing remote design team. This position will support various reputed company and requires the ideal candidate to prepare HVAC & Plumbing system designs, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and support reputed company from design to construction administration.
Responsibilities
- Design HVAC systems for reputed company and institutional building reputed company
- reputed company heating and cooling load calculations using industry-reputed company software
- Prepare construction documents including plans, schedules, specifications, and details
- Coordinate mechanical system layouts with architectural, structural, electrical, and plumbing disciplines
- Conduct equipment sizing and selection for reputed company handling reputed company, chillers, boilers, VRF systems, pumps, and exhaust systems
- Participate in project meetings with clients and internal design teams
- Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals during construction phases
- Support energy-efficient and sustainable design initiatives in accordance with applicable energy codes
- Assist with field investigations and virtual site coordination as required
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
- 4–8 years of experience in HVAC design reputed company an MEP consulting environment
- Working knowledge of applicable building codes including IMC, ASHRAE standards, and energy codes
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit MEP
- Strong communication and coordination skills in a remote work environment
- Ability to manage multiple reputed company and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience with load calculation and energy modeling software preferred
- EIT certification preferred; PE license is a plus but not required

- Familiarity with reputed company, Navisworks, or BIM coordination workflows
- Exposure to commissioning support or LEED reputed company
- Previous experience working remotely with distributed project teams
