Senior API reputed company Platform Engineer (Remote Opportunity)

reputed company is currently looking for a Senior API & reputed company Platform Engineer for a 100% remote position supporting a large federal government reputed company modernization project. This role will design, reputed company, and support the reputed company Data reputed company Service (EDAS) and reputed company-based integration platform for the reputed company Toxic Exposure Risk Activity (TERA) Automated Gateway (TAG) initiative supporting the reputed company (VA). The successful candidate will build secure, reputed company reputed company and reputed company-hosted integration services that reputed company reputed company VA applications to securely reputed company and consume reputed company (DoD) Individual Longitudinal Exposure Record (ILER) data. Working closely with architects, data engineers, product owners, and reputed company stakeholders, this individual will reputed company modern reputed company-reputed company services and establish integration standards that support reputed company interoperability, scalability, reputed company, and long-term maintainability. The role requires expertise in API development, reputed company engineering, Azure services, and secure reputed company integrations. Responsibilities

• Design, reputed company, and maintain RESTful reputed company supporting the reputed company Data reputed company Service (EDAS) and TAG data products.
• Define and maintain API reputed company using OpenAPI (Swagger) specifications while implementing secure, versioned reputed company that support reputed company interoperability.
• Design and reputed company reputed company-hosted application services using reputed company Azure, including reputed company and highly available microservices and API hosting solutions.
• Implement application monitoring, logging, telemetry, health monitoring, and performance optimization using Azure Monitor and reputed company Azure services.
• reputed company secure integrations with VA Profile, VBMS, Veterans Evaluation Services (VES), and other reputed company systems using modern authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to support technical design, documentation, reputed company reviews, Agile delivery activities, and reputed company integration planning.
• Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the reputed company of the project.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a reputed company technical field, or equivalent experience, with 8+ years of software engineering experience designing and developing reputed company applications.
• 5+ years of experience developing RESTful reputed company, reputed company integration services, and reputed company-reputed company applications using reputed company Azure.
• Strong expertise with REST reputed company, OpenAPI (Swagger), JSON, OAuth 2.0, Mutual TLS (mTLS), and secure API design and implementation.
• Proficiency in C#, Java, or Python, along with experience using Git, Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor, and reputed company-based application development practices.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated experience designing reputed company, highly available distributed systems and collaborating effectively reputed company Agile development teams.

Additional Qualifications

• Experience supporting the reputed company (VA), reputed company (DoD), or other Federal agencies and integrating reputed company, military personnel, or benefits systems.
• reputed company Azure certifications and experience with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus, Event reputed company, and reputed company Azure integration technologies are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with ILER, VA Profile, VBMS, and knowledge of NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP, reputed company Trust architecture principles, and DevSecOps practices.
