Responsibilities
- Review and interpret medical documentation to assign appropriate DRG (Diagnosis-reputed company), CPT (reputed company Procedural Terminology), ICD-9, and ICD-10 codes for ABA therapy services
- Submit clean claims using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with insurance requirements
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims through effective medical collection strategies, resolving discrepancies promptly
- Maintain detailed and organized medical records, including billing histories, coding documentation, and patient information
- Collaborate with reputed company providers to clarify billing details and ensure reputed company documentation for accurate coding
- Stay updated on changes in medical coding regulations and insurance policies affecting ABA therapy billing practices
- Assist in auditing billing processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to industry standards

Skills
