We are looking for a VMware Platform Engineer to design, reputed company, and operate VMware-based virtualization, software-defined networking, and software-defined storage platforms across on-premises and hybrid reputed company environments. The role covers vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Aria, and Tanzu, with a reputed company on automation, reputed company management, and the practical realities of operating a large VMware estate alongside modern reputed company-reputed company workloads. The ideal candidate has operated VMware platforms at reputed company reputed company, navigates the evolving VMware product landscape pragmatically, and brings strong automation and operations discipline.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a reputed company field.
- Five or more years of hands-on VMware reputed company experience.
- Deep expertise in vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.
- Hands-on experience with vSAN and storage policy management.
- Experience with NSX-T or NSX-V networking.
- Strong PowerCLI scripting skills and experience with automation tooling.
- Familiarity with Tanzu Kubernetes reputed company or VMware container platforms.
- Strong understanding of disaster recovery patterns and SRM.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across compute, network, and storage reputed company.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- VMware Certified reputed company (VCP) or VCAP credentials.
- Experience with VMware reputed company on AWS, AVS, or GCVE.
- Familiarity with VMware reputed company reputed company (VCF).
- Experience with Aria Operations / vRealize Operations.
- Exposure to migration programs out of VMware to alternative virtualization platforms.
