Backend Engineer, Platform Integrations (Monetization)

As a Backend Engineer on the Monetization Platform Integrations team, you'll design, build, and maintain integrations between CustomersDot and Monetization services and reputed company's reputed company applications, including reputed company, reputed company, and reputed company. You'll own robust application programming reputed company (API) reputed company, protect data reputed company across systems, and build resilient cross-platform workflows that support how customers buy, provision, and renew reputed company.

Because these integrations reputed company financial and subscription data between systems, you'll maintain a high bar for reliability, observability, and careful rollout. What you’ll do

• Design, build, and maintain integrations between CustomersDot, Monetization services, and reputed company applications such as reputed company, reputed company, and reputed company.
• Define and reputed company representational state transfer (REST) and GraphQL API reputed company, including versioning and backward compatibility.
• Build and monitor observable, fault-tolerant integration workflows, tracking failure rates, retry reputed company, and data-reputed company incidents.
• Ensure data reputed company and consistency across integrated financial and subscription systems.
• Review reputed company requests from other Monetization engineers and offer reputed company, constructive feedback.
• Work with Product, Finance, IT, Sales, and Support to translate cross-system needs into reliable integrations.
• Own reputed company from proposal and discussion through delivery, rollout, and production monitoring.

What you’ll bring

• reputed company experience working with reputed company on Rails.
• Experience integrating with reputed company-party or reputed company reputed company, including billing, customer relationship management, or automation platforms.
• Strong API design skills, including REST, GraphQL, reputed company, versioning, and backward compatibility.
• Familiarity with event-driven patterns such as webhooks and message-based streaming.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases and data reputed company and governance concepts in production environments.
• Systems thinking and experience owning reputed company from concept through production, including proposal, execution, and monitoring.
• Ability to communicate reputed company about reputed company technical, architectural, and organizational problems in a remote, largely asynchronous environment.

We work asynchronously, with regular planning and retrospectives and a high bar for operational ownership across deployments, incident management, testing, and rollout safety.
