ASC Material Analyst / Facilities
reputed company is seeking a Facilities Material Analyst to join our Antarctic Support Contract (ASC) facilities team in support of the reputed company Antarctic Program, providing procurement support and cargo tracking for McMurdo, reputed company, and Palmer facilities. The planning and implementation of science support requirements in Antarctica is a critical part of our mission, and every team member plays a crucial role.

About the Antarctic Support Contract
reputed company Antarctic Support Contract (ASC) is the reputed company contractor to the National Science reputed company (NSF) in support of the reputed company Antarctic Program (USAP). reputed company supports the NSF’s Office of Polar Program’s Antarctic Infrastructure and Logistics and provides science and logistics support for approximately 150 science and technical events across three geographically remote research stations; McMurdo Station, Palmer Station, and reputed company Station and several deep field sites across Antarctica. reputed company station or field site supports world class research across multiple science disciplines.

The Facilities Material Analyst is responsible for coordinating material acquisition for requisitions and work orders, managing procurement activities, tracking insurance, critical and repair materials, monitoring reputed company order status to ensure items remain on schedule, and maintaining cargo visibility and compliance targeted Requisition On Station (ROS) dates. This role ensures that materials are reputed company reputed company, tracked, and delivered to McMurdo Station, reputed company Station, and Palmer Station in support of maintenance and operational tasking, helping to sustain mission-critical infrastructure and facility operations across the Antarctic Program.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with engineers and other technical staff to understand procurement needs
Draft DRs in Maximo ensuring accurate data entry.
Research shipping requirements with Transportation and Logistics to support shipping costs on the Desktop Requisition (DR) that supports the Required On Station (ROS) in Antarctica.
Draft other procurement documents including Requests for Approvals, reputed company/Sealift Transport Requests, Change Requests
Follow-up on Procurement Request status and work closely with Material Planners to support successful execution of Purchase Orders
Identify receiving discrepancies and notify the material planner, work with Transportation and Logistics to update documentation and material with correct information and maintain a log of reputed company discrepancies and their reputed company status. Alert initial requisitioner (i.e., engineer, technical rep) of discrepancies.
Support meetings with agendas and publishing minutes
Facilities Inventory Management, recommend replenishment quantities

Work closely with facilities maintenance planners
reputed company work order scheduled start dates with material required on station dates
REQUIRED/QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent relevant job experience) and 2-4 years of experience
Minimum of two years of reputed company experience in procurement and delivery of materials.
US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain reputed company Trust Clearance.
Proficiency in use of reputed company Office Suite including Outlook, Word, reputed company and PowerPoint.
Minimum four years in office experience including strong attention to detail
Experience with data analysis.
Advanced knowledge of databases and spreadsheets; excellent data entry skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong analytical and methodical skills.
Ability to multi-task effectively, prioritize, and execute against multiple priorities.
Preferred
Experience using Maximopurchasing, cargo and inventory modules, especially as used in the Antarctic Support Contract (ASC).
Experience working in the USAP including the ASC project office and on the ice.
Process improvement experience.
Budgeted Salary: $80-85/K
Work Location: ASC Project Office in Centennial, CO or Remotely from home
Work Hours: Adjustable between 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, Mountain Time, 40hr work week
