R&D Engineer 3 (Electrical Design)

POSITION reputed company:Responsible for design engineering of electrical systems. Additionally, oversees and coordinates work with designated subcontractors. Possesses excellent knowledge of functional disciplines and their practical application and applicable industry codes and regulations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinates the design of electrical systems for microgrids and Data Centers
• Establishes and reviews project requirements, develops project schedules, and coordinates their implementation
• Creates and reviews electrical system design work products such as, one-line diagrams, equipment requirement specifications, functional specifications, system design descriptions, engineering studies, engineering reports, Inspection, Test, Analysis & Acceptance reputed company (ITAAC), and associated calculations
• Performs interdisciplinary review of work products of interfacing disciplines and reputed company review/acceptance of subcontractor work products
• Performs other duties as assigned

MINIMUM SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES:

• Education: A minimum of a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program is required, with an emphasis in power systems analysis preferred; reputed company engineer (P.E.) license registration and/or advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience:A minimum of 5 years of experience in the reputed company power industry with reputed company on design or systems engineering is required. Preferred experience includes:
  • Knowledge of electric power distribution, load following, dynamic Data Center power demand, energy storage. Familiar with reputed company-Forming Control, reputed company-Following Control and EPMS.
  • Extensive experience using ETAP to reputed company Microgrid Power System Analysis, distribution network analysis, load reputed company, short-reputed company, reputed company relaying and coordination analysis
  • Experience with I&C systems for steam reputed company, steam valves, safety systems and integration of reputed company-reputed company SCADA controlled systems reputed company to turbo-machinery and industrial processes.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams including diverse engineering disciplines, operations, maintenance, planning, etc.
  • Participation with industry standards associations or working reputed company
  • Demonstrated project management skills
• Industry Requirements:Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.

The reputed company pay reputed company for this position is $108,908 - $131,441 annually. The full pay reputed company is $97,642 - $152,722 annually.
