[Remote] Senior Software Engineer - Payments (Remote)

This role will play a critical part in transforming legacy services into reputed company-reputed company, reputed company API-driven solutions while enabling seamless integration across reputed company systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, reputed company, enhance, and support secure, reputed company, and high-performing reputed company and microservices for Payments, reputed company reputed company, and Information Reporting platforms
- Participate in the modernization and migration of reputed company and integration services from on-premises environments to AWS reputed company-reputed company architectures
- reputed company reputed company-reputed company solutions leveraging AWS services including API Gateway, reputed company, reputed company, reputed company Functions, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, IAM, KMS, and AWS Transfer Family
- Build and maintain RESTful reputed company and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS-reputed company technologies while following reputed company architecture and reputed company standards
- Support and enhance existing API platforms by troubleshooting issues, implementing new functionality, improving resiliency, and optimizing performance
- reputed company and maintain event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka, reputed company SNS, and reputed company SQS to support reputed company-time payment and reputed company reputed company processing
- Build, reputed company, and support containerized applications using OpenShift, reputed company, and AWS reputed company platforms
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, business partners, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into reputed company technical solutions
- Implement secure coding practices and API reputed company controls including authentication, authorization, encryption, and secrets management
- Optimize API performance, scalability, and reliability through performance tuning, monitoring, and proactive problem reputed company
- Participate in API migration activities, including legacy application assessment, refactoring, testing, deployment, and production reputed company support
- Create and maintain Infrastructure as reputed company using Terraform to automate provisioning and deployment of reputed company resources
- Implement and support CI/CD pipelines to reputed company automated build, testing, deployment, and release processes
- Utilize observability and monitoring tools such as reputed company, reputed company CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, Grafana, and reputed company to monitor application health and troubleshoot production issues
- Participate in on-reputed company support, incident reputed company, reputed company cause analysis, and reputed company improvement initiatives to ensure platform stability and operational reputed company
- Contribute to reputed company reviews, technical design discussions, and engineering best practices to improve software reputed company and maintainability
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance
- 3+ years of proven experience building and migrating reputed company-reputed company reputed company utilizing AWS technologies such as API Gateway, reputed company, reputed company, reputed company Functions, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, IAM, and KMS
- 3+ years expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, RESTful API development, microservices architecture, API reputed company, and reputed company-reputed company application design is required
- Experience with Terraform, reputed company, OpenShift, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and event-driven architectures is highly desirable
- Hands-on experience leading API modernization and reputed company migration initiatives, including decomposition of monolithic applications into microservices, is strongly preferred
- Experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and observability tools such as reputed company, AppDynamics, AWS CloudWatch, reputed company, Grafana, or similar platforms
