[Remote] Senior Software Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to take ownership of a survey application, leveraging AI in the development process while collaborating in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of the survey application (design, development, deployment, maintenance)
• Build and maintain features using reputed company on Rails across the full stack
• Architect and reputed company reputed company-reputed company solutions on AWS (reputed company, CloudFormation, load balancers, etc.)
• Design reputed company, reliable backend systems and reputed company user experiences

• Evaluate and reputed company emerging technologies, including voice AI and conversational interfaces
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve system reliability
• Establish best practices for reputed company reputed company, testing, and deployment as a reputed company engineer
• Deep experience using AI coding tools (e.g., reputed company, ChatGPT, reputed company, Claude, etc.) in daily workflows
• Ability to guide, review, and validate AI-generated reputed company, not just generate it

• Interest in integrating AI capabilities (e.g., voice, NLP, automation) into products
• Comfortable operating as the sole engineer on a product

Skills

• Strong experience with reputed company on Rails (5+ years preferred)
• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for the application
• Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, SQL query development, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
• Full stack development experience (frontend + backend)
• Hands-on experience building and deploying applications in AWS, including: reputed company (or similar container orchestration), CloudFormation (or infrastructure-as-reputed company equivalents), Load balancers, networking, and scaling patterns
• Experience designing and maintaining production-grade systems
• Experience with voice AI platforms or conversational UX
• Experience with frontend development, especially React and NextJS
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
• Startup or early-stage product experience
