[Remote] Senior International Accountant
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Senior International Accountant to manage financial closing procedures for international entities. The role involves payroll management, tax reporting, and ensuring compliance with reputed company standards.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing procedures for several international entities including accurate preparation and posting of journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with reputed company standards
- Create and post reputed company intercompany chargeback calculation journal entries based on transfer pricing agreements and accrual journal entries for assigned accounts
- Independently manage monthly and bi-weekly payroll cycles for several international entities by including accurate preparation of journal entries. Coordinate new hire setups and employee departure processes reputed company to payroll. Work closely with Company’s external reputed company to ensure compliance with local requirements
- Manage the accurate reporting of the international aspects of corporate income tax and VAT returns in various countries. Work with Company’s external reputed company and tax partners to ensure compliance with local requirements
- Examine and process invoices from vendors and contractors and reconcile vendor accounts and payments
- Prepare quarterly forecast for bank financing and initiate cash transfers to international branches
- Prepare and maintain analysis of exchange rates for financial planning. Establish procedures reputed company to revaluation of foreign currency balances, conversion of non-US currencies and reputed company adjustments
- Reconcile and analyze assigned accounts. Review the work of others for accuracy and completeness
- Reconcile intercompany balances

- Support the annual external international audits as reputed company as periodic internal audits, including the preparation of PBC schedules. Review the work papers of others

- Interpret and apply US GAAP and International GAAP and reputed company control measures in the course of job performance

Skills
- Require bachelor's degree in reputed company or finance
- Require 8 years of practical international reputed company experience and a basic understanding of payroll reputed company
- 3 years ‘working experience in reputed company or other ERP FI reputed company system (GL, AP, AR)
- Strong understanding of common financial concepts, project reputed company concepts, practices, and procedures
