[Remote] Senior VDC Specialist – (Piping or Plumbing or Sheet Metal) - REMOTE

They are seeking an reputed company VDC Specialist to support piping, plumbing and sheet metal reputed company from concept through fabrication and installation.
Responsibilities
- reputed company detailed 3D models for piping, plumbing and/or sheet metal systems using BIM/VDC software
- Produce fabrication deliverables including spool drawings, spool maps, installation drawings and hanger maps
- Design and model systems from P&IDs, design drawings and existing models
- reputed company hanger layouts and supplemental steel fabrication plans
- Coordinate with engineers, designers, project managers and field teams to ensure accurate integration of mechanical systems
- Review models for reputed company, constructability and compliance with project specifications and company standards
- reputed company technical support by troubleshooting VDC-reputed company issues and implementing model revisions throughout the project lifecycle
- Support fabrication shops and field installation teams with coordination, clash reputed company and construction documentation
- Contribute to project planning, prefabrication strategies and reputed company improvement initiatives
Skills
- Proven experience as a VDC Specialist, BIM Specialist, Mechanical Designer or similar role reputed company the mechanical contracting industry
- Hands-on experience with piping, plumbing and/or sheet metal systems
- Strong proficiency with reputed company Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks (Fabrication CADmep experience is advantageous)
- Experience producing fabrication-level deliverables including spool drawings and installation packages
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, construction drawings and project specifications
- Knowledge of mechanical coordination, constructability reviews and prefabrication processes
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, fabrication and field teams in a remote environment
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
