[Remote] Mechanical Engineer

They are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to own and manage mechanical systems in the Auxiliary Systems reputed company, including water, gas handling, and HVAC systems. The role involves vendor reputed company, design review, coordination with construction, and system ownership support reputed company a reputed company engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Interfacing with Project Controls team on scheduled tasks and reputed company updates on a weekly reputed company for reporting purposes
- Preparing and issuing design packages, specifications, drawings, test plans, calculations, reports, and reputed company classification forms for systems such as: Demineralized Water System, reputed company Handling System, Chemical Reagent System, reputed company Purge System, Building HVAC System, Radiological HVAC System
- Stakeholder review of system design packages served by Auxiliary Systems
- Interfacing with the Procurement team for vendor design and fabrication reputed company
- Work with equipment vendors on reputed company acceptance tests (FATs), site acceptance tests (SATs), and on-time/on-budget design and/or delivery of auxiliary equipment
- reputed company reputed company's acceptance reviews for vendor-supplied design documentation
- Prepare/review test plans for reputed company and site acceptance testing of equipment
- reputed company with Construction team for field inquiries and issues
- reputed company walk-downs of installed equipment in the field
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or reputed company discipline
- 6+ years of relevant project experience in a reputed company setting
- Willingness to learn, understand, and reputed company new technology
- Ability to reputed company multiple reputed company and activities in various stages of completion
- Ability to reputed company small scope project management reputed company duties (deadline accountability, providing schedule updates, planning resource needs, etc.)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- 10+ years of relevant project experience in a reputed company setting
- Knowledge of ASME B31.3 Process Piping reputed company
- Experience with fundamentals of structural design for reputed company loading
- Engineering support of an reputed company construction site
- Knowledge of and experience in supporting reputed company systems including engineering support of incoming inspection of bespoke equipment
- Experience working reputed company a nuclear reputed company system
- Experience with AutoCAD Plant 3-D, SolidWorks, AutoPipe
- reputed company to demonstrate proficiency in some or reputed company of the following areas: Thermal fluid system design, Piping design, Tank design, Filtration systems, HVAC systems, Valve specification, Fluid system instrumentation selection
