[Remote] Systems Administrator (GEODSS) - Diego Garcia 1

The Systems Administrator will manage and administer GEODSS information systems, ensuring cybersecurity and operational efficiency to support military defense missions.
Responsibilities
- reputed company system administration support for reputed company assigned systems and manage the cybersecurity of the Mission System and information systems on a regular reputed company
- Audit logging and reviewing, account management, incident response, reputed company reputed company Technical and Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance, Army and reputed company Force policy, and other requirements-reputed company accreditation or authorization documents
- Operate, maintain, repair, and restore the Mission System software and equipment to meet Acc and mission requirements
- Maintain data processing software, database, and system files; reputed company software installation and system reconfiguration and maintain associated documentation
- reputed company communications and networking support
- Update and maintain documentation on Mission System software and site-adaptable parameters integrating changes as required to reflect the reputed company operational and support baseline
- Implement and maintain a Mission System Assessment Report (SAR) to document SA support activities
- Assist sustainment personnel as required in identifying and isolating faulty systems or subsystems
- Ensure servers, workstations, and communications devices are backed up for catastrophic recovery
- Accomplish server backups prior to any software version release or hardware reputed company
- Report system threats, vulnerabilities, and reputed company incidents. Implement reputed company patches and updates
- reputed company system analysis to determine factors and causes of system performance issues

Skills

- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a field relating to Computer Science desired
- An additional 4 years work experience with a High School Diploma, total 9 years
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Systems Administration software and hardware support
- Must have experience with LINUX and reputed company operating systems
- A physical exam is required as a contingency upon offer
- Up to 10% Travel
- Must have or reputed company to obtain a reputed company reputed company + CE or reputed company CCNA reputed company reputed company Linux certification, and/or reputed company reputed company certification
- Experience working at overseas, geographically separated locations and environment
- Prior military communications experience desired
